Precautions for the Use and Storage of Bulletproof Helmets

Bulletproof helmets are powerful protective equipment for law enforcement personnel, and their protection of the head is very obvious when performing tasks. They are very effective in resisting knife cuts, hard object impacts, liquid corrosion, etc. So what should be paid attention to when using and storing bulletproof helmets?

1. Do not store it together with corrosive substances. Although bulletproof helmets can resist corrosive liquids for a short period of time, they cannot be stored together for a long time. It is necessary to maintain a certain distance.

2. Keep away from high temperature storage environments, as bulletproof helmets may deform due to long-term exposure to heat sources. Therefore, a dry and ventilated environment is sufficient, and the requirements are not high.

3. When using bulletproof helmets, pay attention to their expiration date. If cracks or looseness are found, they should be replaced in a timely manner to avoid being ineffective at critical moments.

The materials used for making different bulletproof helmets are different. Nowadays, high-density fiber materials are generally used for manufacturing, and steel is rarely used because although steel helmets are relatively strong in defense performance, their flexibility and weight are relatively poor. The defense ability of high-density fiber materials is also very strong, which can easily defend against pistol bullets, and even deformation is very small.

When facing rifle shooting, the bulletproof helmet has a certain degree of deformation, but it is still not penetrated. Although the person who is shot may feel a heavy blow to the head, it is not fatal, achieving the effect and purpose of a bulletproof helmet.

Our company has MICH, FAST, PASGT, WENDY bulletproof helmets, as well as the newly developed AF (Armor Forces) bulletproof helmets. We have internationally recognized and standardized NIJ test reports, which can provide customers with a detailed understanding of the helmet's bulletproof ability and safety performance.
